John Charnock - Baritone

Before moving into the Borough of Walsall in 1981, John originated from the Stourbridge area where he was a member of the Worcester County Youth Orchestra, King Edward VI Motet Choir and St Thomas’ Church Choir. John has wide musical tastes which include folk music and jazz. One of his more recent musical challenges has been to learn the Tenor Saxophone under the tutorship of Mark Wilkinson. When not singing with Credo Singers he can be found playing double bass with local jazz trio “Acoustic Moods”. John lives in Aldridge, is married to Monica, and has a small black cat called Pathia-Puss.
