Credo Singers was formed 15 years ago by friends Penny King and Erica Clegg. Penny and Erica wanted to create a mixed voice choir where christians from around the Walsall area could come together and make music, as well as enjoying friendship and fellowship. They advertised widely, putting notices in local churches, and spreading the word to their friends. After a lot of prayer and hard work, the 'Credo Singers' were created.

Our repertoire has grown to vast proportions over the years. We sing many things - from Baroque to rock! Penny, as conductor, chooses the music and plans the programmes.

The name 'Credo' means 'I believe' - which as Christians, we all do!
